You can now capture your CDGs, VCDs, and DVDs directly to the KOD-1000's hard drive. The discs will rip directly into the hard drive instead of waiting for the disc to play through. Another feature made more powerful than the last is the way your would search songs! You can now order or cue songs by song number, name, artist, or by category. Once you've found your favorite songs, you can store them in a "Favorites" folder. A brand new and very useful feature is the ability to support a PS/2 keyboard. You won't have to painstakingly type in each artist name and song title with the remote any more. Using a key board will make things very easy and save you plenty of time.

The KOD-1000 Karaoke-On-Demand (KOD) comes with 500GB hard drive which can hold approximately 8,000 uncompressed CD+G tracks.  You can upgrade the hard drive size up to 1TB for up to a 25,000 song capacity.  The removable hard drive enables you to upgrade to a larger capacity drive in the future.

• KOD Mode: Video and music jukebox that plays files stored in the hard drive.
