The EON series has been a strong presence in live sound, and the EON15P-1 is
the model that started it all. It's great for live sound reinforcement and for
AV presentations because of the following characteristics:
The EON15P-1 sends 130 watts to its 15" Differential Drive low frequency
driver that features a neodymium magnet. What that means to you is a lighter
cabinet and less distortion as well. As for the high end, 50 watts goes to a
one-inch JBL compression driver with a titanium diaphragm and ferro-fluid
cooling giving you responsive treble and low vibration.
This speaker won't overheat, thanks to its Thermomaster Total Thermal
Management System which is a big name for a cast-aluminum baffle that very
efficiently takes heat away from the woofer, horn and amplifier.
And it's a monitor, too...Rest it on its angled back and it's great for a
monitor on stage. Want to chain several EON series speakers together?...there's
an XLR out for just such a task.
